Happy 2015 FAVELissues readers!

To start off the year, I thought a little grounding and evaluation  before diving into the posting season would be fruitful to us all. That stated, I would like to direct your attention to an interesting TED talk by Professor of City and Regional Planning at the University of California at Berkeley, Ananya Roy, discussing poverty, or more accurately, the definition and perception of poverty.
